Faculty & Administration


The Lord has brought together a great team with many years of training and experience. The total years of training for the entire faculty is over 90 years; their total number of years of experience is well over 280 years.


Pastor and President

Pastor Baker

Pastor James Baker serves Tabernacle Bible Baptist College and Theological Seminary as the President of the college. Reverend James W. Baker was installed as Pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church and President of Tabernacle Baptist Bible College and Theological seminary August 15, 2004. He holds both a Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts Degree and is currently working on a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology from Bob Jones University. He founded Grace Baptist Church in Kettering, Ohio, and pastored there for twenty-one years. He also served as assistant pastor of Meadow Hill Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama for three years, and as assistant pastor at First Baptist Church in Oxford, Michigan.


Executive Vice President & Dean Emeritus

Dr. Edward Caughill

Dr. Edward G. Caughill, our Dean Emeritus, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bob Jones University, a Master of Arts degree from Michigan State University, a Master of Divinity degree from Maranatha Graduate School of Theology. He was also awarded the Doctor of Divinity degree by Maranatha Graduate School of Theology. He has been in the ministry for forty-nine years which includes not only Christian education, but pastoring and church planting.


Dean of Students

Dr. Ray Fulatyer

Dr. Ray D. Fulayter, Dean of Students, holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, a Master of Arts degree from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology, and a Master of Divinity degree from Maranatha Graduate School of Theology. He earned his Doctor of Religious Education degree in 1992. He has over thirty-five year of full-time teaching, primarily on the college level. He has served in the pastorate and as a Christian day school administrator.


Professor of New Testament Studies

Dr. Walter Yoho

Dr. Walter Yoho, professor, holds a Bachelor Arts degree from Lycoming College and a masters of Arts degree and a Ph.D. degree from Bob Jones University. He also studied at Eastern College and Faith Theological Seminary. He is in his twenty-seventh year of full-time ministry, having served as a pastor, professor, and college administrator. He has written 59 books and booklets.


Professor of English & Education

Dr. Sherill Fulayter

Dr. Sherrill L. Fulayter, Professor, has studied at the University of Minnesota and Mankato State University, and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, a Master of Arts degree from Maranatha Baptist Bible College and Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Religious Education degree from Tabernacle Baptist Theological Seminary. Her dissertation was entitled, Biblically Helping Children with Learning Difficulties.


Dean & Professor of Hebrew & Old Testament Studies

Mr. Ken Sheets

Mr. Kenneth F. Sheets, Teacher, earned a Bachelor of Science from the University of Virginia and a Master of Divinity in Old Testament from Temple Baptist Seminary. He has served as church planter and pastor in Oregon and North Carolina. He has been teaching for twelve years, with an expertise in Biblical Languages (Greek, Hebrew, and Aramaic), Textual Criticism, and Old Testament Wisdom Books.


Professor

Dr. Carl Bieber

Dr. Carl D. Bieber, Professor, holds a Bachelor of Science degree and a Master of Education degree from Bloomsburg State College, and a Doctorate of Religious Education degree from Northgate Graduate School. He served his country in the United States Navy and has been teaching for forty years and has been the principal of Tabernacle Baptist Academy since May 1973.
