Campus Students

Campus students are required to register for classes in person by visiting the registrar's office, located at Tabernacle Bible Baptist College & Theological Seminary, 717 N. Whitehurst Landing Rd., Virginia Beach, Virginia. The registrar's office can also register online students. Call during normal business hours, 757-420-5476 extension 308. The remainder of this page is for online students who desire to register online.

Online Students

Online students are currently limited to one class at a time, so choose the class carefully and determine your status as an undergraduate student, MMin, MRE, MDiv, DMin, or DRE (pp. 55-57, Course Catalog) candidate as well as your choice of audit or for credit enrollment. Read the next several paragraphs for online students. At the bottom of this page, you will be required to acknowledge your understanding and agreement with these terms. Click the continue button to proceed with enrollment.

Providing distance education presents unique and diverse challenges for both the student and the institution. Accordingly, TBBC-TS developed some guidelines for online students; these requirements are in addition to requirements in the course catalog.

Online students will be required to complete an evaluation survey at the completion of each class. This survey is designed to provide valuable feedback to the administration, faculty and web development teams.

Online students, regardless of state or country of residence, pay standard tuition rates.

Online students will not be required to pay the Student Benefit Fee.

Online courses are self paced with time limits: a 2 hour course has a 4 month limit and a 3 hour course has a 6 month limit.

All coursework books are available from the school bookstore at normal bookstore cost plus shipping. Books must be paid for in advance and shipping is billed. Purchasing books from the school's bookstore is not mandatory, however, our pricing policy usually ensures students of the best price. Students are free to use other means to acquire books.

Books and DVDs are not required to be returned.

All online courses will require exactly 2 proctored exams (midterm and final); no other coursework requirements will be proctored. The instructor will announce if the exams are subjective, objective, closed book, open book or open Bible.

In order to graduate, all students, including exclusively online students must meet minimum residency requirements by attending 1 Bible conference and your choice of 1 interim course or 1 summer school session. These events are offered at various times throughout the year and are announced in school mailings.

All online coursework must be completed before the final exam is mailed to the proctor.

Course materials will include forms that must be completed and returned to the registrar. Incomplete, unreturned or illegible forms will result in grades being withheld.

Online students must have a DVD player and access to reliable postal facilites. Students are required to communicate with their professor bi-weekly; email or telephone is the preferred method; under certain circumstances, postal mail will suffice.
