Pastor James Baker, President
Pastor Baker serves as the pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church and as a part-time professor in Pastoral Studies. He holds both Bachelor of Arts (1977) and Master of Arts (1979) degrees from Bob Jones University and is currently working there on a Doctorate in Pastoral Theology. Before coming to Tabernacle in 2004, he founded Grace Baptist Church in Kettering, Ohio, and pastored there for twenty-one years. He served previously as assistant pastor of Meadow Hills Baptist Church in Huntsville, Alabama, for three years and as assistant pastor at First Baptist Church in Oxford, Michigan.
Mr. Kenneth F. Sheets, Dean and Professor
Mr. Sheets serves as Professor of Bible and Biblical Languages. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering (1976) from the University of Virginia and a Master of Divinity in Old Testament (1986) from Temple Baptist Seminary and has done additional work toward a doctoral degree. He served as a church planter and pastor in Oregon and as an assistant in North Carolina before joining the faculty of Ambassador Baptist College where he taught for twelve years. Mr. Sheets combines his analytical engineering abilities with a facility in Biblical languages to enhance his teaching whether in creationism or textual criticism. He has written the unpublished book, The Poetry of God: A Primer on the Ancient Hebrew Poetry of Scripture, as well as numerous exegetical analyses of Scripture passages.
Dr. Ray D. Fulayter, Dean of Students
Dr. Fulayter serves as Professor of Bible and Biblical Counseling and as a professional Biblical counselor. He studied at Port Huron Junior College, the University of Minnesota, and Mankato State University. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (1964) from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, both a Master of Arts (1972) and a Master of Divinity (1982) from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Religious Education (1992) from Tabernacle Baptist Theological Seminary. Dr. Fulayter has over forty years of teaching experience, primarily on the college level, with over 25 years of concurrent pastoral experience as well.
Dr. S. Fulayter, Professor
Dr. Fulayter, the wife of Dr. Ray D. Fulayter, serves as Professor of English and Christian Education and assists her husband in his professional counseling ministry. She studied at the University of Minnesota and Mankato State University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (1962) from Pillsbury Baptist Bible College, a Master of Arts (1972) from Maranatha Baptist Graduate School of Theology, and a Doctor of Religious Education (1998) from Tabernacle Baptist Theological Seminary.
Dr. Walter A. Yoho, Professor
Dr. Yoho serves as Professor of Bible and Theology. He studied at Lycoming College and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree (1970) from Eastern University. He also studied at Faith Theological Seminary and later received both a Master of Arts (1972) and Doctor of Philosophy in English Bible (1974, Biblical languages minor) from Bob Jones University. He taught at Piedmont Bible College for eight years. In his thirty-four years of experience, Dr. Yoho has served in various roles including college professor and administrator in addition to eleven years as a pastor. Dr. Yoho is the author of numerous books and booklets expositing Scripture and Biblical topics. He heads two of the College's outreach ministries into local churches: the Seven-Point-Five School of Special Studies and the 3-D Extension Ministry.
Dr. Carl D. Bieber, Professor
Dr. Bieber serves as Director of the Missions ministry of Tabernacle Baptist Church and part-time Professor of History and Government. He holds both Bachelor of Science (1961) and Master of Education (1964) degrees from Bloomsburg State College, and a Doctorate of Religious Education (1976) from Northgate Graduate School. He served for three years in the United States Navy and as principal of Tabernacle Baptist Academy for thirty-three years. Dr. Bieber has over forty years of teaching experience. .
Mrs. Marci Baker, Instructor
Mrs. Baker, the wife of Pastor James Baker, serves as his secretary and as a part-time instructor in English and Christian Education. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree (1977) from Bob Jones University and is currently working on a Master of Religious Education degree from Tabernacle Baptist Theological Seminary. She has twenty years of teaching experience in a wide range of settings.
Rev. Andrew P. Hoyle, Instructor
Mr. Hoyle serves as assistant pastor of Tabernacle Baptist Church and as part-time instructor in Biblical Languages. He holds both Bachelor of Biblical Studies (2002) and Master of Biblical Studies (2004) degrees from Ambassador Baptist College and is currently working on a Master of Divinity degree at Tabernacle Baptist Seminary. Before coming to Tabernacle in 2007, he served as associate pastor at Calvary Baptist Church in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania, for almost four years. While at Calvary, he also taught in their Bible Institute.

Mr. Savage serves as Music Director of Tabernacle Baptist Church and as part-time instructor in Bible and music, while also teaching voice and choir in the Tabernacle Baptist Academy. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Southeastern Fundamental Baptist College and is currently working on a Master of Religious Education degree at Tabernacle Baptist Seminary. Mr. Savage came to Tabernacle in the fall of 2008 after serving music director in Harvest Baptist Church in Acworth, Georgia.
